Extravagant Things [E-Commerce]
Velvet Grooves was contacted by previous client Extravagances Boudoir to build an e-commerce to which would site nicely next to their Ebay store, like a sister site. The idea of the site in addition to being easy to use, was to be colourful and vibrant; interesting to look-at, flexible, expandable and highly functional. So it was decided to move from WordPress to a more powerful system – CMS Made Simple.
As an e-commerce site, it can hold any number of products, sort them into any number of valid categories, be branded to however they require, and process payments securely. The client can choose whether to use Paypal payments or Credit Card payments. They can also handle promotions via the back-end of the site and send out branded newsletters. Customers have to register with the site in order to make payments, and all information is held strictly securely and confidential.
In addition to e-commerce features, the site is also Search Engine Optimised to some degree.
The site is fully functional for business albeit, business won’t start until the new year.
